Wisdom teeth removal - I was put to sleep through IV general anesthetic.
I've never gotten anything intravenous, and I've never been put to sleep,
so it was an odd experience..

Before the doctor inserted the IV needle/line into my right hand,
he told me that my eyes were going to feel heavy,
and the last thing I'm going to remember is the doctor saying,
"open your mouth."
After he injected the anesthetic into my body, I was just lying there, thinking,
"hmmm... This doesn't happen as quickly as it does in the movies..."
And then I was gone.  Woke up an hour later.  Didn't even remember going to sleep.

I didn't even stay up to hear the doctor say "open your mouth."
