If you're in a mood for a heart-warming and tear-jerking sports-drama (and Korean) movie,
Lifting King Kong (킹콩을 들다) is the movie for you.

The movie is about a retired weight-lifter, who goes on to coach middle school and high school girls in a small, rural area of South Korea.
It not only depicts the drama that unfolds as the girls learn about the sports,
but also portrays the relationship between the coach and the girls as they start to care for and love one another.

The individual characters and sub-plots that serve as the comic relief prevent this movie from being too depressing, even though there are some great tear-jerking moments.
I gotta admit, I was bawling near the end of the movie.

Again, if you're in a mood for a heart-warming movie,
I highly recommend this one.
