10 years ago on this day,
hundreds of people died as the victims of terrorism.
Father John talked about forgiveness today.
We should never forget what happened, and who the victims were,
but the memory of this day should spark remorse, not hate.
Hate only leads to more hate, which leads to even more hate.
Also, focusing on the hate also blurs our vision and judgement.
Even to this day, as the result of 9/11, many people face unfair stereotypes and discrimination.
There are so many people to remember and pray for today.
